Our products are aimed at business customers, and the information we process therefore primarily concerns the company you represent. If you contact us as a private individual, your information will be processed in accordance with this policy.
This personal data policy applies to personal data that you provide to us or that we collect via the website or other sources.
Alfix is the data controller for your personal data. All inquiries to Alfix can be made via the contact details.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT AND FOR WHAT PURPOSE
When you visit the website
We do NOT collect information about you and your use of the website when you visit the website.
When you subscribe to our newsletters and request to join our Pro Club
We collect information about your name, your email address, and your company.
The purpose is to be able to send newsletters to you and otherwise pursue our legitimate interests in sending you marketing material.
When you order a product from us or receive a quotation from us
We collect information about your name, which company you represent, telephone number, payment method, information about which products you order, and delivery time and method.
The purpose of this processing is to enable us to deliver the offered or agreed products and otherwise fulfill the agreement we have entered into with you or the company you represent, including administering your rights to make complaints.
When you have questions or communicate with us**
We collect information about your name, your email, your telephone number, which company you represent, and your question.
The purpose of the processing is to answer questions or otherwise communicate with you in order to provide the service you request.
When you apply for a position with us, unsolicited or in response to a job posting
We collect the information from your application that you have chosen to provide to us.
The purpose is to recruit for vacant positions and to store applications for potential future recruitment.
When you are the contact person for a company that is our customer
We collect information about your name, your email, your telephone number, which company you represent, and other information that you choose to provide to us, excluding any sensitive information.
The purpose of the processing is to communicate with you, including by email and telephone, and to provide you and the company you represent with the best possible service, including taking special wishes and needs into account, as well as giving us the basis for offering the company you represent relevant information.
We also use this information to contact you, or the company you represent, regarding your satisfaction with our services and/or to send you information about the same or similar services that we assess may be of interest to you or your company.
When you represent a supplier
We collect information about your name, your email, your telephone number, which company you represent, and other information that you choose to provide to us, excluding any sensitive information.
The purpose of the processing is to communicate with you, including by email and telephone, in connection with tasks that you, or the company you represent, perform for us as a supplier.
Recipients of personal data, including transfers to third countries
We only share your personal data with third parties when we are required to do so by law.
Disclosure to data processors
Your information may be disclosed to external business partners who process the information on our behalf. These companies are data processors acting under our instructions and process data for which Alfix is the data controller. The data processors may not use the information for any purpose other than fulfilling the agreement with us and are subject to confidentiality in this regard. We have entered into written data processing agreements with all data processors who process personal data on our behalf.
To the extent that we process personal data outside the EU/EEA, such processing takes place in accordance with the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.
When we delete your personal data
Information collected in connection with your communication with us, your inquiries, and requests for information is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the relevant processing.
Information collected as a representative of companies will generally be deleted 5 years after the end of the calendar year in which the relevant agreement was entered into. However, the information may be stored for a longer period if i) we have a legitimate interest in retaining the information for a longer period, ii) it is necessary in order for legal claims to be established, exercised, or defended, or iii) retention is necessary for us to comply with legal requirements. Accounting records are stored for 5 years until the end of a financial year in order to comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
Information collected in connection with your subscription to the newsletter or Pro Club is deleted when your consent to the newsletter is withdrawn. However, the information may be stored for a longer period if we have a legitimate need for longer retention.
Your rights
With a view to ensuring transparency regarding the processing of your information, we inform you in this section about your rights.
Right of access
You are at any time entitled to request information from us regarding, among other things, what information we have registered about you, the purpose of the registration, which categories of personal data and recipients of information there may be, and information about where the information originates from.
Right to rectification
You have the right to have incorrect personal data about yourself corrected by us. If you become aware that there are errors in the information we have registered about you, you are encouraged to contact us in writing so that the information can be corrected.
Right to erasure
In certain cases, you have the right to have all or some of your personal data deleted by us, for example if you withdraw your consent and we have no other legal basis for continuing the processing. To the extent that continued processing of your information is necessary, for example for us to comply with our legal obligations, or for legal claims to be established, exercised, or defended, we are not obliged to delete your personal data.
Right to restrict processing to storage
In certain cases, you have the right to have the processing of your personal data restricted to storage only, for example if you believe that the information we process about you is incorrect.
Right to object
You have the right at any time to object to our processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, including the processing carried out in order to target our direct marketing.
You also have the right at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data that we carry out on the basis of our legitimate interests.
Right to withdraw consent
You have the right at any time to withdraw any consent you have given us for a given processing of personal data, including in connection with your subscription to our newsletter.
Right to lodge a complaint
